On September 21 & 22 Baptist Bible College and Seminary hosted its second annual chaplaincy emphasis weekend. Chaplains, recruiters and endorsers were invited to spend the two days with the students on campus, speaking at the chapel services at the college and the seminary and in dorm devotions. The weekend featured a question-and-answer forum and a pizza lunch that allowed students to gain exposure to military chaplaincy and to ask questions specific to their educational track. As a special feature of the weekend, the Pennsylvania National Guard flew a Blackhawk helicopter onto the BBC campus quad. Please pray for the young men who are seeking God’s will concerning possible ministry as a military chaplain.
Chaplain Murdoch will be teaching a one-week module on “Governmental and Legal Issues in the Military Chaplaincy” 27 Feb-2 Mar 2007 as part of the Military Chaplaincy Concentration for the Baptist Bible Seminary MDiv program.
