Emmanuel Baptist Church, Flint, Michigan, highlighted the ministry of Regular Baptist Chaplaincy during its missions conference Oct. 1 and 2. Chaplaincy Director Manning Brown and his wife, Jennifer, were one of five missionary families who participated in the weekend event.
“This was our first missionary conference since assuming the chaplaincy ministry,” Brown says. “It was a wonderful opportunity to share about the chaplaincy and hear about the ministries of the other missionaries. It was a terrific event, and Pastor John Scally and Emmanuel Baptist were wonderful hosts.”
The GARBC endorses nearly 100 chaplains serving in the military, as well as institutional and community service settings.
