A Friendly Face at Ft. Bliss

Ft. Bliss, TX, has the distinction of being one of the Army’s main mobilization centers for reservists. No doubt some of the reservists you have been praying for have spent time at Ft. Bliss. ChaplainCraigBirch.jpgCh Craig Burch, one of our Regular Baptist chaplains, has been the 108th Brigade Air Defense Artillery Brigade Chaplain at Ft. Bliss since 2003. While his responsibilities as the brigade chaplain keep him very busy, one of his greatest joys is looking up individuals who are in training for deployment or returning from deployment, and inviting them into his home. Craig and his wife, Cindy, have had a great ministry of encouragement to weary reservists in the form of a home-cooked meal, a cheerful face, a compassionate prayer supporter, and a link to home.

The Burches will be retiring from military service the end of this year; but in the meantime, if you have a loved one at Ft. Bliss who could use some godly attention, let us know. If the schedule allows in any way, Ch Burch will find a way to find your loved one!
