Multitude of Angels – Luke 2:13–14 (Advent Day 15)

By December 17, 2017No Comments

In an instant, the stillness of the night was shaken by a multitude of angels praising God in the highest. “Glory to God in the highest,” they said, “and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Peace among man must be preceded by peace between God and man. To know Jesus is to know God, and to know God is to know peace. As you pray, pray for the peace that surpasses all understanding.

This post is part of a series of reflections that take us through the Advent season. They are intended to help us set our minds on the true meaning of Christmas. Manning Brown, director of Regular Baptist Chaplaincy, compiled these reflections for his church while he was stationed in Germany.
