The newest Regular Baptist lay chaplain is Lt. Craig Duck of the Washington DC Fire Departmen
t. Craig is the Lieutenant of Engine Company 11 and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Firefighters International. On April 12 Chaplain Murdoch had the privilege of visiting with Lt. Duck and riding with him and his team on Engine 11 for one of their shifts. Lt Duck has been asked to develop the Washington DC Fire Department chaplain corps. He is also interested in assisting churches in the GARBC with emergency evacuation plans and training for emergency situations in their communities so the church can minister effectively within their community during a disaster or emergency situation.
