On Easter Sunday, 137 soldiers and civilians at Camp Buehring in Kuwait came out to the flight line at 0500 to attend a sunrise service. Chaplain John Jensen officiated and spoke on three reasons “Why Jesus Would Not Stay Dead.” Jensen explained that (1) Jesus was without sin, (2) He was approved by God, and (3) He is God.

Several musical groups performed songs of celebration and worship.

The service was a time of special remembrance of God’s gift of salvation and peace for our troops serving in a land that is hungry for peace.  Remember to pray for our troops and for their families back home.
