Berea3_inlineManning Brown, director of Regular Baptist Chaplaincy, spoke during a multi-church Thanksgiving service hosted by Berea (Ohio) Baptist Church on Nov. 24. Brown gave historical background on the chaplaincy program and highlighted the different areas in which GARBC chaplains serve. Focusing on leadership lessons from the book of Nehemiah, the sermon addressed why it is important to be thankful for those who assume leadership roles, specifically chaplains, who serve as religious leaders in their respective ministries. The evening service included a history of Thanksgiving presented by Ken Spink, pastor of Berea Baptist Church.
