Chaplain Wayne Keast Retires

Maj. Wayne Keast has retired from service as an active duty U.S. Army chaplain effective July 1. Chaplain Keast came to the Regular Baptist Chaplaincy family from a different endorsing agency in 2008 while he was serving at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colo. He was subsequently assigned to Fort Meade in Maryland as his final assignment.

Wayne and his wife, Terri, have two children, Nathan and Ashley. The Keasts are moving to Walkertown, N.C., where Wayne plans to pursue a PhD at Piedmont Graduate School, Winston-Salem, N.C.

John Murdoch, director of Regular Baptist Chaplaincy Ministry, says, “As the Keast family moves on to this new chapter in their lives, it is our prayer that the Lord will continue to use them for His glory. Thank you for your faithful testimony for the Lord and your honorable representation of our fellowship while serving both God and country.”
