When the angel Gabriel visited Mary, he told her that she would give birth to a son, Jesus, and that He would be called “the Son of the Most High.” Unable to comprehend Gabriel’s words, with simple acceptance she told him, “May your word to me be fulfilled.” For the nonbeliever, the most difficult aspect of faith is accepting. As you pray, give thanks that through Christ, God accepts us.
